Windex 2008 is for everyone involved in the window cleaning industry and its subsidiary services. Windex 2008 offers companies in the window cleaning industry the opportunity to demonstrate and sell products and services to the buyers of window cleaning equipment and services.

The exhibition is organised every two years on behalf of the Window Cleaning Industry by Quartz publishing and exhibitions Ltd which has more than 50 years experience in the cleaning marketplace as well as being the organisers of The Cleaning Show and publishers of the leading title Cleaning & Maintenance magazine, the WINDEX exhibition has demonstrated just how effective a well-targeted, industry supported exhibition can be.

Windex 2008 has closed, thank you to all exhibitors and visitors who made this years event the best yet.

Official Opening & Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

The shows were officially opened by Ruth Travis president of the IICRC (the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification). Picture shows Ruth and June Frankum president of the NCCA.

Seminar Highlights

Following an introduction from the Federation of Window Cleaners, David Walker of the Ladder Association provided his take on ladder safety in the Windex seminar programme. Meanwhile, the Carpex seminars were introduced by NCCA president June Frankum.
Exhibitor highlights:

Amtech UK is launching two new eco-friendly extractors at Carpex.

Even better they are giving away a ‘Black Max’ air mover for floor drying with every show purchase of the new products.
Contico is showing an ultra light, CVC commercial vacuum cleaner featuring three stage filtration.
Facelift Cleaning Systems is exhibiting a full range of waterfed pole systems and is taking pre-orders for the May launch of its new F1 high modular carbon waterfed pole range.
Krud Kutter, the American brand for cleaners, degreasers and stain removers has chosen Carpex for as official launch-pad for its extensive eco-friendly range.
The ‘Fastest Window Cleaner’ Competition

Carpex Windex took place this year on 27-28th March at a new venue, the Ricoh Arena in Coventry.  Attracting more visitors than ever before and hosting the best stands and highest profile seminar programme within their six year history, the shows raised the bar with a passion.

Windex/Carpex 2008 Seminars – Upbeat & Informative

Details of next year’s Windex / Carpex seminar programme have been announced by event organiser Quartz Publishing & Exhibitions. Developed for everyone involved in window cleaning, carpet cleaning and carpet restoration, the two day programme will be held on 27th-28th March at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry.

Dubbed as upbeat and informative, expert speakers promise sound information and industry advice to help delegates take their businesses to the next level. A popular bi-annual event in the window / carpet cleaning industry calendar, over half of all delegates at the last Windex / Carpex exhibitions in 2006 attended the seminar programme.  An impressive 92% of attendees said the sessions were informative.

New international competition to be launched

The Guinness Book of World Records and The Federation of Window Cleaners, (formerly known as The National Federation of Master Window & General Cleaners),  have announced the launch of ‘The Fastest Window Cleaner on the Planet’ competition. 

The competition will be held at the Windex exhibition on 27th-28th March 2008 in Coventry, England.  Competition organisers are calling record holders and challengers the world over to come forwards to compete for the title.  Could you be the lucky winner?

‘The Fastest Window Cleaner on the Planet’ competition, as its name suggests, is open to professional window cleaners around the globe.  Current national record holders will be admitted to the competition plus one challenger per country.  Record holders must verify that they have the fastest national time before being allowed entry to the competition.  It is free to enter the competition and the deadline for entries is 7th January 2008.

Carpex & WINDex 2008 - dates & smart new venue announced

Carpex & WINDex, the UK’s largest specialist exhibitions for professional carpet and window cleaners have announced dates for 2008. A new state of the art venue has been chosen and to top it all, exhibitor numbers look set to give the last events held in 2006, a real run for their money!

Taking place on 27th and 28th March next year, the shows, both organised by Quartz Publishing & Exhibitions Limited, (organisers of The Cleaning Show and publishers of C&M magazine) will be held for the first time at the multi-purpose Ricoh Arena in Coventry.  Since opening for business in the summer of 2005, the £113 million development has proved a huge success attracting more than 1 million visitors in the first 12 months.
